2023 – 2024 Season

September 4th starts the Sidney Concert Band’s 37th year of bringing music to the Saanich Peninsula! As always, we welcome all concert band musicians to join this wonderful ensemble. If you have a minimum of 3 years experience on your instrument and are aged 10 to 100, we would love to see/ hear you.

Rehearsals are every Monday Night at Peace Lutheran Church 2295 Weiler Ave, Sidney, BC Downbeat is at 7 to 9pm Arrive at least 15 minutes early. Bring your instrument and music stand All percussion instruments provided – bring your sticks And most important… bring a smile and get ready to have fun!

BAND MEMBERSHIP DUES

Due to our excellent executive board, our successful Charlie White Theatre concerts and corporate support (Michele Holmes Team) we have been able to keep our dues low for many years. I believe, the lowest in the South Island! We will start “officially” collecting dues at the end of September… but if you are a returning member of the band, you can do it now. Cost of membership is $125 / students are free!! Dues can be paid by cheque, payable to the Sidney Concert Band… or e-transferred to Ian Cameron at ianc@uvic.ca. Thanks!!!
